A new generation of connectivity systems for new sustainability paradigms

In this webinar a new generation of cyber-physical systems (CPS) that are being developed under the scope of the project (LINK4S)ustainability will be presented. The LINK4S project aims to design, develop and test a novel generation of Smart Embedded Connected (SEC) Devices and the associated platforms (communication network infrastructure and cyber applications) in the context of mobility and energy ecosystems. The webinar will address the challenges raised by these ecosystems, along with the different technologies that are being explored to answer them and the results obtained from the first deployments of these systems in real application scenarios.

Mobility

The main goal of PPS4 is to develop a CPS (Cyber-physical system) that can be used in two distinct integrated urban networks, one for sensing, based on devices (scooters or bicycles) of a shared mobility system, and another for last-mile logistics, based on drones.

Intrusion and risk assessment in capillary natural gas assets

Intrusion and risk assessment in capillary natural gas assets

Being only a test of the base architecture, the main objectives of the deployment were to verify the viability of communications and operating conditions (temperature and humidity), as well as to detect intrusions to the site (through brightness and vibration).

OHL & Telecommunication Towers Monitoring

Being only a test of the base architecture, the main objectives of the deployment were to ascertain the operating conditions (temperature and humidity), as well as to periodically monitor the tower’s vibrations.
